Postcards

I have been working on some illustrations and decided to make them into postcards. I am now going to design an envelope and a letter ready for sending off to publishers.

Illustration Friday - Caution

This illustration was for VHI Insurance to advertise cost cuts for kids. Thought it was quite apt for caution as it reminds me about when my friend and I played hairdressers together when we were about 3 or 4 years old. First she used fingers, then pretend plastic scissors and then the REAL scissors from her Mum's kitchen drawer. My mum was not happy when she saw all my long blonde locks half missing. I was grounded and had to wear a horrible hat for school until I could get an appointment with a REAL Hairdresser!!!!

I have been extremely idle with my blog but have been a busy bee illustrating over the last few months so this is my first IF post in ages! This is an illustration I did for VHI as part of a campaign and I based it around my son who I'm always telling to tidy up his bedroom!!!!!! And even when he does... it's still a mess!!!!
